Learn To Cycle Training Series
Prep
for the Princess Safety Course
As you know, princesses are sticklers for following etiquette. Set a good
example for your friends and other cyclists; many of whom can use a "brush-up."
This one-day course ensures you can safely and confidently ride your bike.
Know the rules of the road before the big day! Class covers emergency
stopping, common road hazards, fixing a flat without breaking a nail,
replacing a chain, course etiquette, and safety gear. (Let's
grab breakfast afterward in downtown Sacramento!). Bring your bike,
pump, kit, gloves, helmet, water, and be ready for fun! Meet at Mile 0
on the bike trail. Professional
instruction.
Saturday, Sept. 13, 9:00 -10:30am, Discovery Park, Sacramento,
CA. $30.
Register here.
The Learn To Cycle Series is all over town!
In order to accomplish our mission in getting more people fit and active,
we are holding multiple cycling training clinics around the Sacramento
region. This way, you can have fun while exercising, and spare the air
as well.
The Learn To Cycle Series consist of three training clinics geared
to improving your bike skills, cycling etiquette, and overall confidence
on the bike. Topics include: Bike & Safety Check, Balance & Body
Position, Starting, Emergency Stopping, Improved Shifting & Hill Climbing,
Riding in a Pace Line & Group Tactics, Improved Descending & Turning,
and Tire Repair. The format is the same for each series, so if you need
to catch a class at another location, you may. Certified, professional
instructor.
